It may not work if the otserver use custom corpses IDs. Then, you can fix yourself, but you have to do the manual work of adding custom items to the Items db. There are lots of tutorials about it around the forums 
For the Mana Potion, no way to fix it. You can use a macro with the command Misc.SendKey(...), read the documentation for more information, please. There are some examples in the forums as well.
